Welcome to the Walk to Cure Diabetes, JDRF’s largest fundraiser! With more than 200 walk locations across the country and five here in the Bay Area JDRF’s goal is to raise $92 million for diabetes research. A cure is now within reach thanks to Walk to Cure Diabetes.

JDRF is funding more research in more different areas of science, than ever before. We are funding more science involving treatments and cures being tested in people than ever before. And large health care companies are now taking JDRF-funded science and creating clear pathways to bring those cures and therapies to market. We all feel a sense of urgency and that provides a compelling reason to register for the Walk to Cure Diabetes 2009 and to work harder than ever for the funds needed for research. It is imperative that we maintain strong research momentum and follow up on the progress made in the past few years.
The Walk to Cure Diabetes are communities working together to raise funds for diabetes research in a fun, family-oriented healthy activity that builds camaraderie. It’s an event you will feel good about. The Walk to Cure Diabetes fuels the research that will find cures diabetes. Together, we will be known as the people who cured diabetes.
