Early Results From TRIGR Study Released

While not definitive, early evidence provides clues on a possible link between the diet of at-risk infants and prevention of type 1 diabetes. The study is the pilot for a larger, on-going trial called TRIGR, which is designed to determine whether weaning to a highly hydrolyzed formula decreases the risk of developing type 1 diabetes.
