Spring Fling

Spring Fling was founded in 2002 by Sarah and Don Lucas, whose daughter, Mary, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes ten years ago. Since inception, this event has brought together committed volunteers and supportive members of the community, raising more than $3.4 million for diabetes research. All proceeds benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, Greater Bay Area Chapter.

The 2010 Spring Fling will be held on Friday, March 12 at The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay.  Contact Kelly Craft for more information.

The 2009 Spring Fling:

On Saturday, March 14th, nearly 300 people golfed, lunched, cocktailed, dined, donated and danced to raise funds to support JDRF funded research.  Spring Fling 09 raised $500,000!  Thank you for generous support of JDRF.  Your support means so much in accelerating the pace of science that will cure type 1 diabetes.
