T1D Family Day at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo

Connect with other families and learn about the latest progress being made in T1D research and treatments.

Join us for our annual JDRF Silicon Valley Family Day on Saturday, February 25. This year, we will be at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo in San Jose.

The event begins with a research update presented by Kimberly Ford Chisholm, Ph.D. and author of the T1D column “Lessons Earned: Science, Struggles and Type 1 Diabetes.

There will be activities for kids during the presentation. After the inspiring presentation, explore the zoo and pet the animals at the Double H Ranch exhibit. Families will also have the opportunity to speak with representatives from our sponsor, Insulet Corp., makers of the OmniPod Insulin Pump.

Day: Saturday, February 25
Time: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Cost: $5 per attendee — includes free parking as well as admission into Happy Hollow
