You don’t want to miss the JDRF Diabetes Awareness Day with Oakland A’s!

MUG Root Beer Float Day: 10:35am to 12:35pm
JDRF Diabetes Awareness Day and First Pitch: 12:35pm

Come early to enjoy the 11th Annual Oakland A’s MUG Root Beer Float Day!  A’s players, local celebrities, radio and television personalities will be serving floats and signing autographs. A’s players expected to participate are: Andrew Bailey, Craig Breslow, Trevor Cahill, Rajai Davis, Cliff Pennington, Adam Rosales and Gio Gonzalez. A’s coaches Mike Gallego and Todd Steverson.  Admission is free with your game ticket and proceeds benefit JDRF.

MUG Root Beer floats will be served in the Eastside Club for $2.00 each. There will also be a limited supply of 32oz. mugs signed by Andrew Bailey available for $25 which includes unlimited refills. For $15 you can purchase a 32oz. mug, non-autographed, with unlimited refills. Additional funds will be raised through “tips” given in exchange for celebrity scooper’s autographs and pictures. Proceeds from MUG Root Beer Float Day benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Admission is free with a game ticket to that afternoon’s game against the Kansas City Royals.

As many as 400 people are expected to come out and show their support on Wednesday.  Discounted tickets are still available to watch the A’s take on the Kansas City Royals and $2.00 of each ticket is donated back to JDRF. Your ticket will be in one of the special Field Level sections reserved to celebrate JDRF Diabetes Awareness Day with the Oakland A’s.
