Help Boston Celtics’ Ray Allen Support JDRF

by Greg Martin on 05/06/2010

As you may know, Walker Allen, the son of Boston Celtics star Ray Allen, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2008, at the age of 18 months. Since that time, Ray and his wife Shannon have made finding a cure for diabetes one of their primary goals. Shannon now serves on JDRF’s International Board and will be chairing our Annual Conference in a few weeks.

Among the many ways in which Ray and Shannon are helping JDRF is through the sale of a specially-designed limited edition T-shirt. Designed by Ray and sold by Muze Clothing, the T-shirt traces Ray’s career from high school through the present day. Muze Clothing will donate all proceeds from the sale of these shirts to JDRF.

To purchase one of these unique shirts, just click on the link below. And to read more about the Allen’s story, please visit www.jdrf.org/rayallen.

To purchase a shirt and join Ray and Shannon Allen on their journey to find a cure, visit the Muze website.
